Changes in our process due to Covid-19

updated May of 2021 to reflect the CDC guidance that those fully vaccinated against Covid-19 do not need to wear masks. 

For the protection of our guests and volunteers, Community Harvest has adapted a new process that utilizes social distancing to the best extent possible. Guests remain in their vehicles and volunteers will get the needed information to register them, and get their units filled.

We are asking guests who are not yet vaccinated against Covid-19 to please wear a mask or face covering when interacting with our volunteers.

All volunteers that are not yet vacciniated against Covid-19 are wearing masks while serving with Community Harvest.

Any guests that have a trunk or truck bed that is separate from the rest of their vehicle, our loading process remains the same, and a volunteer will load the groceries into the vehicle. Any vehicles that the trunk is not a separate air space as the vehicle (vans or hatchbacks), groceries will be loaded onto a table, and the guests will then load their own groceries into their vehicle.

With our new process, there will be a volunteer to direct you where to park, to secure you a place in line.
